Simple makeup I did today..again just cheap products since everything I would usually use is at my mom's house still.



Princessa 3 in 1 pencil in Creamy Cocoa (base)
ELF quad in Pretty N Pink, color reddish purple w/ silver sparkles (outer 1/2 and crease)

Also this isn't related to beauty at all, but I found this at WinCo last night and thought it was so funny I had to take a picture of it:



It's a Valentine's card that says "For my sexy wife" and it was placed in the sister card slot. I don't know who did that, but it's like a white trash Valentine lol.

Rambling birthday post

Today was my 26th birthday. I finally got my license renewed, the day it expired. Ugh I am so relieved to have gotten that taken care of!

For my birthday I went to Applebee's with my dad and brother. I was supposed to see my boyfriend but it didn't work out. No birthday sex for me ;[

Makeup of the day#3 :

It's just a Profusion 98 palette (a really cheap, SHIMMERY palette I got at Ross Dress for Less) in a purple (inner 1/2) and a kind of olive (outer 1/2)
NYX Eye Pencil in Extreme Black (eyelid, waterline)
L'Oreal Voluminous Mascara in Blackest Black
and a NYX Eye Pencil in Pots and Pans (base)

It was not very good, but I basically applied it with my finger because I left all my makeup brushes except for my ELF lip brush at my mom's house, along with all my good makeup.

I got some peach sangria drink which was soo good!

Also there was a ring around the moon tonight! I don't know what it means but it was so cool. It was almost rainbow-y. My brother and I tried to get a picture of it, but we couldn't get the ring to show up.

KMART HAULLL

Hi again :]

I went to my local KMart a couple nights ago because I wanted to get some more shampoo and conditioner, and while I was there I picked up a couple other things too! (I would take pics but my camera's at my mom's house and my brother is being a jerk and won't let me borrow his, so these pics are from the net)

Got some Pantene Pro-V Red Expressions Color Enhancing shampoo and conditioner, which is supposed to be for redheads to make your hair shinier and more vibrant...(that's what they claim anyway)..

A few years ago I had this product, but it has been reformulated since and is not as good as it was. I've only used it twice so I will give it time, but so far it has left my hair feeling stripped.

I got Garnier Fructis Anti-Frizz Serium Sleek & Shine.

It is a thin, watery oily consistency and is working well so far, but the scent is pretty overpowering. It was such a familiar smell to me when I first got it, but I couldn't place it. But after like 30 minutes of sniffing it I recognized the smell---a stinkweed! It smells like a stinkweed, a long-stemmed weed that has little white buds at the top. It is apparently in the mustard family. Anyway, they grew everywhere when I was a kid and I'd always try to pick them (the stems are tough!). If you have never smelled one, it is kind of sweet, but kind of unpleasant.

Then I got some nail clippers too, since I broke my other ones. Well, not broke, but the two handle pieces came apart from the pin that holds them together, and I lost the pin.

Bleh

That was short lived =_= I'm back home...let go after the 2nd day for not learning the program fast enough! Well what do you expect when you are given about 10 minutes of "training" and told to essentially wing it? LOL

Anyways I applied for another temp agency in Lake Oswego which is a ritzy Portland suburb. And there I was driving around expensive cars in my shitty '91 Trooper haha. OMG and I was driving past all these obnoxious little upscale shops there and saw a store called Sur La Table just like in South Park! I thought that was made up and when I saw it I lol'd.

Also, I am leaving for Portland tomorrow and am getting really nervous. Well, I am getting nervous about starting a new job, even if it's temp. I haven't worked in a while and am just anxious about it. Plus I hate working at call centers because it wreaks havoc on my weak little vocal chords. >_<

I have to renew my driver's license tomorrow before I go, because it expires on the 27th (my birthday ugh) and who knows when will be another convenient time.

I will be staying with my mom at her house and she has cleaned out her clothing and stuff from the bedroom I'll be staying in. I'm taking most of my makeup and clothes, some nail polish, my jewelry, and some hair stuff. Oh, and I am also planning on taking the laptop because it has my screenwriting software on it, and without any real distractions I will hopefully be able to write some. :]

Leaving...

So I found out Wednesday that I got the temp job at the call center, and since it is up near Portland I am temporarily moving in with my mom just to be closer and to not commute so far. I'm leaving on Tuesday January 19th and will be back after the job is done in 2 months. My mom doesn't have internet or cable or anything, so I will rarely be able to update my blog. I will be back though! :)

My NEW OBSESSION

Ok I went back to Rite Aid this evening (well, Friday evening) because I had to get more of my new favorite product. My Carmex! So..

Out with the old...



and in with the new...



Let me add that I had never even used Carmex before three weeks ago, and never planned on doing so. But on a whim tried it and fell in love! It does make my lips really soft and cures/prevents chapped lips. :]

If you are curious, it does have mineral oil and petrolatum, if you are concerned about that, but no parabens.

Nails of the Day! :]

I see this around blogger and wanted to do it whenever I update my nails!

Ok so today I have on 3 coats of Essie in Mint Candy Apple, topped with 2 coats of Sally Hansen Hard as Nails in Baby Blue Icing, topped with Seche Vite topcoat. Thick as hell! I mixed the polishes just because the Essie color by itself was a little dull I wanted to make it unique! :]

Little Update

Guess what I just did.......

I ordered some Mac stuff! I am super excited! It is actually a birthday gift from my dad. And I have never owned any Mac so I am really stoked. :)

I also had a job interview yesterday for a call center. I'd be hired through a staffing service and the job would only be for up to two months, but I would be so happy to work and have an income again anything I can get would be great.

Also, yesterday was what would have been Elvis' 75th birthday! In his honor of that, the song of the day is my favorite song of his, Love Me Tender.
